This course is designed for total beginners who have expressed an interest in cake decorating and considering enroling on our PME Diploma. The objective of this course is to cover all basic techniques required to produce a basic cake. It is hoped that students will improve their ability through self-development and expert guidance. The additional confidence gained will allow students to further their interest and progress to enjoy future courses and to ultimately become a qualified professional cake decorator. This course is suitable for young mature adults from 13ys+ who have a keen interest to learn the art of Cake Decorating ( please note an interview will be required before acceptance for ages between 13 and 16 years - email for guidance). Please be aware that this is not a course designed for children! This course can be attended by mature teenagers to learn alongside adults
During each lesson our senior tutor Lynda will be demonstrating and explaining a wide variety of techniques.
Over the next 5 weeks you will be studying
· Marzipan covering
· Sugarpaste covering and crimping
· Royal icing skills
· Garret frills and ribbon application
· Basic modelling
We offer the Buy Now Option to purchase this course with or without materials.
If the option "without materials" is selected then we will supply you with a list of requirements, alternatively we can supply if ordered on enrolment at our student discounted fee.
This course is held in our new teaching facility “The Studio”. Free Car parking is available very nearby. “The Studio” is situated within yards of the local Bus Station and Taxi Rank, with only a 5 minute walk to the Train Station.

This course is a 5 week (Tuesday) evening course starting at 18.30pm and finishing by around 20.30pm.

An apron, your enthusiasm. An email will be sent on enrolment of materials and equipment required when attending class. Free refreshments are provided.

Refunds will only be given if the course is cancelled due to lack of students or that we feel the course cannot run due to other issues on our behalf. By leaving the course at any time due to issues on your behalf there will be no refund given.
