BASIC PEOPLE MODELLING COURSE
This class is all about modelling techniques. Firstly we will discuss how to make modelling paste and the differences between varied gums. You will then be shown various skin tones and how to achieve them. During the morning you will learn the principles of making male and female torso, legs, arms feet and hands. We will then break for lunch and in the afternoon, you will be shown how to make faces with various expressions, face detail and hair detail. This is the first session in our modelling course, and we advise you enrol on this before any other more advanced modelling courses. The objective of this lesson is technique. Please note as limbs will not be in proportion we will not produce a finished model

* Tutorial – basic principles of modelling including lots of Top tips and the tutors secrets
* Various skin tones
* How to use a size guide
* Proportions in modelling – getting them right to ensure success
* How to use modelling tools to enhance the appearance of your modelled characters
* How to paint facial detail
* How to produce hair
* Storage & transportation of your modelled figures
This course is held in our new teaching facility “The Studio”. Free Car parking is available very nearby. “The Studio” is situated within yards of the local Bus Station and Taxi Rank, with only a 5 minute walk to the Train Station.
Course Times: This course is split over 2 weeks, starting at 18:00 and finishing around 21:00.

The course price includes everything you need. We will provide all the, materials, the use of all sugarcraft tools, equipment and refreshments. Students can take advantage of 10% discount on items purchased in the cake decorating supplies shop on the day of your course.
What you need to bring:
An Apron, a box to transport your limbs home and your enthusiasm.
